Story of the Painting

On February 12, 2006, Chris Courtis had a dream in which he found himself in a beautiful old stone church during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. As he was kneeling in the church he saw flashes of light like he usually sees at the beginning of an apparition and

“Then all of a sudden there was Saint Joseph, and he looked the same way as I am used to seeing him, only without the staff, with the hair parted, long hair, light gray across the top but not too much, just right at the top. His eyes were transparent, same beard. I can’t describe everything. A brown robe and a gold like dress. He stood on a cloud but I could see his feet. He just smiled at me and said, ‘My child, God The Father has desired to ask you through me that a painting of His Most Sacred Heart be painted and done.’ At this moment I just interiorly felt that it should be something like the Blue Scapular of God The Father holding out His Heart offered to humanity. And then he went on to say, “God wishes it to be completed by April 13th,” and I got the feeling that was it, and then he blessed me, and the thing was over. I remember seeing black and I woke up.

Chris told the Core Group of the Moving Heart Foundation about the dream, and Elizabeth McKenna, who had done the drawings for the Blue Scapular of the Sacred Heart of God the Father, felt strongly that she was to do the painting. She was prayed over and anointed in front of the Blessed Sacrament at a prayer meeting, and the Core Group prayed the second Novena of the Mother of Mercy asking that the painting would be accomplished according to the Will of God.

The artist immediately began painting the image, working almost exclusively on the painting for three weeks. The work went much more quickly than usual and she felt doing the painting was a spiritual experience. As she worked, she wore her God the Father of All Mankind chaplet beads, which had previously turned gold. She prayed the whole time she was painting and felt Jesus was painting with her. She cried several times during the process, feeling that she was inadequate to do the painting.

The painting was completed by April 13, 2006 and displayed at the prayer meeting. God the Father made his 6th anniversary appearance to Chris and gave the following message:

Message from GOD THE FATHER to The World
April 13, 2006, through Chris Courtis

(The angels are all around.  I see God.  He’s seated on this big, carved throne, and He’s in a long white gown, and I can see His body, I can see His hands and His feet, and I don’t see His face – it’s all light.  Angels are singing.  They’re singing “Glory to the Lord.”  God the Father, He says,)

My dear and beloved children of My earth,

Today I have come among you to give to you a very special message for all of mankind. Today, I hold out My heart to humanity. (He’s holding out his heart.  There’s so much light.  His heart is out, and it’s over us.  It’s gold, and the flames are just fire, it’s fire of light.  He says,)

I hold out My heart to give it to humanity, to all My children in a last and desperate attempt to save their souls and restore life to My children.

I desire that people venerate the image of My Fatherly Sacred Heart.  I desire that people place this picture alongside the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary painting and pictures.  I desire to be venerated in the homes.  Every family should honor the heart of the Father, for it is out of the heart of the Father that I sent you My only begotten Son to save and redeem humanity.

Today, I give My heart as a symbol of My Love and to draw them back to My Spirit which I give freely through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  Come back to My heart, live in My kingdom, and receive My true peace.  For this to happen, people must venerate and acknowledge My Fatherly Sacred Heart.  Oh, how so often it is spoken of in Holy Scriptures, yet no one pays any attention to it.

My heart is real!  It truly beats and longs for all My children to be in My kingdom and free from sin and Satan.  My heart yearned to send the Savior, My Son, into the world, and through that I send also, through My heart, your only mother, your Most Holy Mother, and she loves you so much and desires you to return back to the Kingdom of Heaven also.  I desire that through this painting, great conversions will be given, and that the family that venerates Me and My Fatherly Sacred Heart will receive grace in abundance.

The first is that the family shall have peace, and

Second, the fathers shall be given all the graces that they need to lovingly discipline their children and draw them closer in love to My heart and to Jesus.

Third, I shall give to those who make a request to My heart, peace, true peace.  I shall answer your request but only according to My Will.  I shall also give to you the grace of knowing My Will.  Whatever My Will is for you, you will know when you venerate My Sacred Heart.  It is only through veneration of My Fatherly Sacred Heart that you will know what My Will is for you.

Let Me explain, My dear beloved children.  My Will always existed, but yet no one has knowledge of what I desire of them.  They do not know where to go or where to turn in their life.  I am there!  I am here!  Ask Me, “What is Your Will, Oh Heavenly Father?” and I will reveal to you what My Will is for you.  I will open doors to the poor.  I will open doors to the lonely, for all those who venerate My Fatherly Sacred Heart.  And to promulgate this devotion, I desire that people, when they receive an image of this painting, that they go before it, pray, first from your heart, whatever comes to your heart, and pray an “Our Father” and mean it!  You cannot error if you pray the “Our Father”, for the “Our Father” is the most perfect Will (prayer?) to Me, perfect in prayer and perfect in unity to My Will.  (And there’s a big light.  It’s engulfing the Father.  It’s a big, big light.  It’s landing on the painting!  The painting is coming to life.  He’s alive!  He’s right there where the painting is!)

My heart I give to humanity.  Take up My heart by living the gospels of My Son and by living every word of Sacred Scripture.  Receive My heart, My dear ones, by loving Me and accepting Me as your Father.  All graces come to you through Me first.  I am the Father.  I am God.  Every grace I give, I give to you.  I also give through Jesus, My Son who is the second person of the Most Holy Trinity, and through Our Lady, your Most Holy Mother.  I give you My heart.  Do not blaspheme My heart.  Do not mock Me.  Never tempt Me, for My eyes see all.  For those who love Me, I shall bless.  For those who hate Me, I shall curse.  I desire to give you My heart, but you must receive it in a state of grace.  You must be willing to love unconditionally.

I shall bless you, My dear little ones, with the blessing of My heart.  (He’s taking a flame from His heart!  Yes, there’s a flame in His hand!)  Just one single speck of this flame can purify you and give you all the graces that you will need.  Come to Me every day so that each day I may give to you new flames of graces and purification.  This is My blessing for you.  (He threw it! He says,)

The flame that you have received is going into you. (He’s making the Sign of the Cross, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.)

Now I shall depart, but before I shall depart, I desire to tell you that I mourn over the separation of churches, especially the Orthodox and Catholic churches.  Everyone should realize that they are one Church united through My Son and dwell within My heart.  The separation of the churches is of your own doing.  I desire to save humanity, but it is humanity’s choice whether they will receive My heart or reject it.  If they reject it, the greatest chastisement that I will send upon humanity will be to forsake you.  I will leave you to your own doing.  This is the worst punishment ever because I have always dwelt with My people throughout all times.  But when My people did not listen, even in the Old Testament, I departed from them.  So do not be concerned about worldly goods, but be concerned about the love you have for Me, My Son, the Holy Spirit, and your Blessed Mother.

Now I shall bless you again and depart, (in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.)

Symbolism in the Painting

In describing the painting the artist says,  “The painting is of God the Father who is a spirit manifesting himself as a man to give His heart of love to the humanity he created, redeemed and sanctified to bring them home.” (An example of God the Father appearing as a man can be found in Daniel 7: 8,9)

The painting is based on Chris Courtis’ descriptions of God the Father during His apparitions to Chris.

The timelessness of The Father is represented in the face, which appears young and vital while the hair is old and ancient.  The universality of the Father is also evident in the face, which could be that of any man of any nationality.

In the Father’s eyes are the Cross of His Son Jesus with the Blessed Mother standing beneath it reminding us that we can only come to God the Father through the Cross of Jesus, and Mary, our mother, is always at the foot of the Cross.  It also reminds us that God the Father sees mankind as redeemed through the Cross of Jesus.

The flowing hair represents movement of the Holy Spirit as God the Father is the creator and mover of all things.

The intense white of the hair and the robe represents perfection. The purist white oil paint available was used.

The part in the hair that seems to continue through the red and yellow colors represents the peeling away of time and space as we know it.

The three primary colors evident in the painting, red, yellow, and blue are the colors from which all other colors in God the Father’s creation are made. Also, the red represents the passion and death of His Son Jesus, which redeemed us.  Yellow represents the light and sanctification of the Holy Spirit.  Blue represents the movement of Creation. Thus the primary colors represent the Holy and Divine Order of Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification.  The primary colors are also the basis of the rainbow, a sign of covenant between God the Father and mankind.

The golden triangle in the painting represents the Triune Godhead – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The Trinity is also represented in the eyes of the Father with the love (the Holy Spirit) proceeding from the Father and the Son, that love that sent Jesus to die for our sins so we could return home to our Father God.  The figure beneath the Cross is Mary, the Mother of God Jesus who is always with her Son.

The heart of God the Father is of solid gold, tried and true.  (Real gold paint was used.)  The flames of love burst out of the solid gold. There are eight flames, which represent the eight steps going up to the altar of God in the new temple as envisioned by Ezekiel.  They also represent the eight steps of Consecration to God Our Father given to Barbara Centilli, (1998) – praise, thanksgiving, offering, repentance, inheritance, saying “yes” to the Father, fidelity, and consecration.

Why Devotion to the Sacred Heart of God the Father?

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.
Indeed the Father seeks such people to worship in Spirit and truth.” Jn 4:23

We know that Jesus is the “Way, the truth and the Life” but we must ask, the way to what? The way to the Father.  The Father is our destination, our Creator and our Father Who calls us home, the Alpha and the Omega.

All of the messages given through Chris Courtis are to encourage and enable all the children of God to know, honour and love the Father and live in His Most Holy and Divine Will, and for that we need to abide in God the Father’s Most Sacred Heart.

Maryour Mother told us in Lesson 9 in January of 2001,

You will never abide in God’s Most Holy Will without love for The Father.  Love God the Father with all your mind, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

My dear ones,

Today I stand at the right hand of the Father with majesty and grace, and it is in that majesty and grace that I rule over everything in this world and in the next.  “My lesson today is on a sure way of living in and of doing My Most Holy Will, and that is by abiding in God My Father’s Most Sacred Heart. When you abide in love, in My Father’s Most Sacred Heart, you are attached to one single Will alone and that is the Will of the Father Who has sent Me. To be one in love in My Father’s Heart also means to be one in His Will. Make no mistake about this, My little ones, God My Father’s Heart does exist. It was only through God’s Most Loving Heart, love beating with His Most Holy Will, that everything did come into being.”

And it was at the Immaculate Conception of My Mother that God My Father did enclose half of His heart to My mother Mary. And it was from her heart that My Body and Heart were formed.

That is why the Three Hearts, though, separate are joined together as One, One in love, and One in Will.  Everything that God My Father does in His Sheer Will is done all in love.

How Do We Abide In His Fatherly Sacred Heart?

Devotion to the Fatherly Sacred Heart of God the Father is essentially a relationship of love.  We acknowledge that God loves us, we accept that love, and we love Him back. Many instructions for abiding in the Sacred Heart of God the Father have been given through Chris.

God the Father said in His first message April 13, 2001, we are to receive Him in the Blessed Sacrament.  He said,

“…when you receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, you receive Me, your Father, as well.  I AM THAT I AM. I am one with My Son and My Son is one with Me as is our Holy Spirit. Therefore, We are all one, one in Will, one in love, bound to each other in the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity.  When you receive the Eucharistic Jesus, not only do you receive My Son, but you receive ME. …I dwell in you, and so does Our Holy Spirit.”

Then On April 3, 2001 Jesus said:

“But, My little ones, you must ask yourselves how can I be united to the Father’s Sacred Heart?

First, you must love God the Father with all your heart and ask Him to grace you with love so that you may grow in God’s love.

Second, you must love Him back. God the Father, just like Me His Son, waits for you to be affectionate with Us. Be affectionate with Us, tell God the Father that you love Him and that you wish to do His Will and thus live in It, for you cannot hope to live in Our Most Holy Will when you can’t even do what He asks of you. I say to you this, you cannot be united to living in God’s Most Holy Will without being united to His Most Sacred Heart.

The last and final thing you must do is consciously consecrate your heart to the Sacred Heart of the Father. Pray simply and ask Him thus;

(To be prayed daily in August)

O Heavenly Father, I approach Your throne and ask that You give to me the grace of abiding within Your Most Sacred Heart. I promise to love Thee and adore Thee with all my heart and soul. O Mighty Father, love me and let me love you so that I may also be one in Your Most Holy Will. You, O God, are my Creator and my Father of Mercy and Love, and it is in Thee that I do trust that Thy love becomes my own, and that Thy Will becomes my will, and that I may live to do Thy Will, on earth as it is in heaven. O Most Merciful and Loving Heart of the Father, I love and trust in Thee through Jesus Christ Your Son.  Amen. (Jesus in Lesson 11, April 23, 2001)

Our Lady asked us to pray the following prayers throughout our day to help us abide in the Fatherly Sacred Heart of God the Father.

  • The prayer from the consecration of the Mass – “Through Him, with Him, in Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is Yours, Almighty Father now, and forever, Amen.”
  • Then of course, there is the Our Father.  Jesus asked that we say it three times in sequence every day.  He said, “This prayer is the most important and powerful of all prayers, because in it I ask that God’s Most Holy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Hence you are the ones who must carry out the Will of My Father by living in My Most Holy Will.  The Will of God, My Father’s Kingdom, truly comes to be established in you.”
  • Our Lady also asked that we pray throughout the day, “I love you Father, and I give myself to you.”

Jesus has given us a prayer imploring the help of the Holy Spirit to love God more. Because we are weak and need the help of the Holy Spirit to love as we should, Jesus gave us this prayer in which we ask the Holy Spirit to imprison us with the Most Passionate Flame of Love:

O Mighty Father, I wish to love You more.
O Mighty Father, I wish to love Your Son Jesus Christ more.
O Mighty Father, I wish to love Your Holy Spirit more.
Send to me, O Mighty Father, the Holy Spirit of Fire and Love,
To consume my heart with the Most Passionate Flame of Love for You and Your Son.
Come, O Holy Spirit, sent by the Father, come and consume in love, which is everlasting, Amen.

Another devotion helping us to abide in the Sacred Heart of the Father is The Chaplet of the Father of All Mankind which was given to Barabara CentIlli in 1996.  In their messages to Chris, Our Lady recommended praying this chaplet daily and Jesus said that if we want to please Him, we would pray one formal Chaplet of God the Father once a week as a means of meditating on the Divine Order of Creation, Redemption, and Sanctification.  The response in this chaplet is, “Father, I love you and I give myself to You.
